The first go round, and Jamee's owning the city...

This was us on our 1 year anniversary before dinner. Love my Jamee!

OK, so I finally pulled the trigger. I played in my first "Pro" tournament and the meantime, the economy apparently isn't that bad because Jamee has got 2 job offers in a month.

All those lazy people that whine about the economy and collect their checks from the couch, can kiss my beautiful wife's back end, and get off their own! Working in the staffing business for a year a half really opened up my eyes to the morons that live in this world and rely on the "terrible, horrible, no good, very bad guy" (sorry for the bad usage of a childrens book...but not really). OK this will be another post later! IM DONE!

Jamee got a job at a PT office!! Praise God. She interviewed there twice in two days...and they called a few hours later offering her the job. That woman must be REALLY good at interviewing because she gets every job that they meet her in person (her beauty doesn't hurt). So she is going to be working the front desk as of right now and they are slowly going to train her in as a PT Aide, while doing so she is going to get her certifications to be an assistant and that way slowly move up. If the phrase :married over your head: is in a dictionary or encyclopedia, my ugly mug would be next to it...she's smart! So that is the low down with her....

Now I wish mine was as good as her's. I played today at a course I have never played before...call me dumb I don't know, but I felt it was something I had to do to know where I belong and what I am capable of. I CAN PLAY WITH THESE GUYS. I had my driver fail me for the first time since I have been out here, it is usually money, the go-to club, rusty but trusty, reliable....whatever your pet name is you can add it here _______________. That wasn't there. I was hitting every wedge to 6-15 feet. Hitting good putts and they weren't going in. Bumpy greens, and holes going in, still not an excuse for missing a freaking 8 foot putt. Oh well, life goes on and I am feeling good about my game compared to a month ago. Still a lot to work on, but still a long life ahead of me too!

We are excited about the future and what is ahead. But still just one day at a time...GOD is GOOD!

Enjoy the rest of the night with the fam.......I'm out.

::Derek & Jamee::

::who we are::

Jamee is a woman. A beautiful woman that has a heart of gold. She is an amazing wife, daughter and sister. She is a fireball that is soft spoken, yet hard thinking, and not afraid to tell you what's on her mind. She is someone that loves people and smiles everyday. She is a Physical Therapist Tech, and loves the genuine wisdom and smiles of the older generation.

Derek is a man. A simple man that loves the little things in life from the BIG GUY upstairs. Simple things like the breath every morning, and the ability to smile at others. He is a professional husband, son, brother and golfer. He is excited every morning for the new journey God puts in front of him.
